Yep, this is righty!! My husband brought these back for me when he went to the States. Pat over at "A little of this and a little of Pat" suggested that I get these wrist wraps. I was telling her about my problems with my hands. My right hand is not as bad as my left, go figure?
This is lefty. Too much stippling I guess? But I won't stop...so I use these wrist wraps during the day, especially while exercing and at night when sleeping. I have noticed that my hands don't fall asleep at night when I use these and they are not as stiff in the mornings.
Oh...don't want to hear any sorry barb...it is just a part of life, I am not complaining, it is just what it is. I guess that will be my new saying now..."It is what it is" and it won't stop me. I just don't want my wrist to get so bad I have to have surgery.
NOW BACK TO THE THINGS THAT ARE REAL IMPORTANT!!
You saw yesterday's post? Well....I don't have a heap of scraps anymore...but I need your help. I went and found some trusty MODA fabric, my niece's store will have MODA fabrics real soon.
I chose a brown...now you get another sneak peak and if you went to my niece's store you will be able to figure out real easy what this is going to be. But that being said....I am working with limited resources here and so here are the options for the last border....WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE? Since one of you are going to win this, maybe it would be good if you have a choice?
So #1
#2
#3
#4
#5

I choose #3. nice overall design and is very happy.
Hmmm...I choose #1.
I wear a wrist brace to bed every night and it helps with my tendonnitis. Sometimes we just have to adapt to situations in our lives. We will learn how to stay sewing!
I think I like the last one. They are all nice but if it's a ginger jar quilt....and since I'm not SEEING the fabrics of the ginger jars, I'm thinking the last one would be the least likely to compete with the jars for attention (and the least likely to draw attention away from the jars). That being said, my second choice would be #4 and my third choice would be #3. (Aren't you sorry you asked?? LOL)
Oh, yes....glad the wrist wraps are helping. I go through periods of wearing them and can then go without them for awhile.
#3. Beyond that, don't be hesitant about having the surgery on your wrists. I've had it on one, and I'm no longer bothered by pain and numbness in that hand and arm. It's getting worse in the other hand, and I'm looking forward to having it done as well.
I vote for number 4.
Hey, I have awful problems with my hands, but you can´t stop living! I did not believe in magnets until I started wearing the bracelets. When I don´t wear them, I really notice it. And, then of course you could take a two week vacation and not sew or scoop poop. LOL.
Hmmm what will this be? LOL My vote is for #5.
Crispy
I think from what I see I like #1.
well, I think I would have to go with number 2... I'm glad the braces on your wrists help, my friend wears them because of her MS and she said the were an incredible help.
Hey Barb, I went back to your previous post to see the colors of the quilt again and I have to say I like # 1.
I like #5. :-)
How was fun to see your quilt pattern on her site.
Ginger Jars? that is so cute. I am going to bookmark your nieces site. I like #3.
I really like #3 with the hint of blue.
number 4 is my fav
Barb I am glad you found something to help your wrists, I understand that the surgery isn't the greatest anyway so if these help woo hoo!
Barb, I know what you mean, we live with what we are given, but I am still "sorry' Barb. Oh my do I love the first border, just beautiful!
Looks like you are ready for some serious stippling! ;) #4 is my favorite. Have a happy day!
I always think a dark dark fabric or a white white fabric makes any of the quilts "pop" so which one you choose will make the fabric look amazing!
My husband has carpol tunnel also and he has used the same appliances you have, but now, he is going to be operated on sometime this year. Free under Canadian Medicare system. Also an aunt had hers done and said it was a miracle repair for her.

No. 4 is my choice, and they all are pretty.
I like number 4 best. :)
Number 1, which is wierd since I don't usually choose flowers. Hmmm. Glad you found something to help with your hands. I wonder if they make one of those big enough for my shoulders??? Lane
My husband had the same problem with his hands falling asleep at night. The wrist guards did wonders for him.
I like option #2
Lovely. I say one or two but that is just me...lol
Beautiful Fabric! I scrolled up and down over ten times looking at each picture and each time #3 just seemed to pop out and be noticed more pleasingly than the others. So I say NO. 3.
I love #4, followed very very closely by #3.
I sometimes use wrist wraps too -- they really do help!
I like #2 best lol!
I am glad you are okay. When I first saw the picture I thought both hands were in casts. I find my hands to get sore. It is hard not to over use them. I like border #3 and #4.
They are all nice but I like #4.
I'll take numero cinco!
Hope the braces help you...they do me.
I like #3 or #4 with the jars.
Happy sewing!!
Lola
I will vote for number 4! And my second vote is for number3.
My husband wears a brace to bed and swears by it. I think I may have to soon, too. I have been making yo yos and after only 3 or so my hand goes numb!
BTW - I like 4
I vote for number #3. Love that floral.
Too many choices for at the end of my day! But I like the wrist wraps - think I need to get me some of those!
Glad that the wrist strap is helping you. I like #4 the best!
