Use just two colors and you get this: (yes, I know I need to iron it!!)
And it can be this?
I had originally planned to make this quilt like the above...but...i just like the way the block stands alone...so I am looking for some pink fabric (plain) for sashing...do you have any Jane?

Don't you love that D9P block?
WOW! This looks great. I have hesitated to use strips but they are prefect in this setting.
It is beautiful. I never thought about using 2 colours.
Very pretty Barb. I like the sashing idea.
ROFL, it took me a moment to catch on to the Jane reference...I'm thinking "I wonder who Jane is?" I'm a little slow on the upbeat this morning LOL.
Cute quilt BTW

Barb, I really like the blocks and the colors. Did the blocks start with a 9 patch or not? Just wondering how you cut the blocks to get to the final block. It is going to be a very nice quilt!
I love your block, Barb - I haven't done that technique but you've inspired me to give it a try. Thanks for sharing -

The D9P is really very versatile, isn't it? I like what you made with just the 2 colors.
I think it is fun.
I have 100% cotton mens shirts all cut and ready to do into a 9 crazy patch....but my question is...do I need 9 different pieces to make it come out nice? I already have 5 cut up....should I add 4 more? I know you'll know, right Barb?
Smiles,
Kelly
Hmmm, I wish I had plain for you all i have is the bubble gum print that is pink with the little flowers, it is the right pink, but the flowers might be too much. How about white?
Wow! I love the way that turned out.
Cool take on it! Great idea.
Too cute!
Very pretty...love the pink!
I love that.....very pretty and pinwheel-ish. Is that a word? lol
