WARM AND NATURAL - THE WARM COMPANY

During the month of December "The Warm Company" had a 12 days of Christmas giveaway.

I was a lucky winner on two days.

I won this Insul-Bright and I am so excited to use this.

Then I won this Warm and Natural Batting, to be honest, I only like to use this batting, warm and white as well.  I brought a whole roll of it on sale at Hancock's so I am set for the year.

For me this batting makes it so much easier to FMQ on your domestic machine than polyester batting.  I do have a few rolls of polyester batting only because it was given to me.

So what is your favorite batting to use?

I won something too, got a high loft poly batting, it's been ages since I've quilted on poly batting, but this is looking really nice when quilted, very poofy on the quilt.

Congratulations on two wins! I love Insul-Bright. It's great for pot holders. I've also used it to insulate bags that I plan to use for food (like lunch bags). My go-to battings is Hobbs 80/20. I like it because it works well for machine or hand quilting. I usually don't hand quilt very large pieces so I can use the leftovers of a machine quilted project for a hand project.

Congratulations on your win of wonderful prizes. I always love it when someone I know wins. And I know quite a few of the daily winners from The Warm Company 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways on Facebook. It was so nice of them to host such an amazing giveaway for their Facebook followers.

Congratulations Barb...great wins. I've been using Quilters Dream batting lately but I have used lots of different cotton blend batting. I'm not a fan of the polyester batting. Have a wonderful weekend!!

I love using Warm & Natural as well as Warm & White. If I can't get either I will use the Hobbs Heirloom Cotton, but I don't like it as well.
Wait a minute!!! You won twice in this and I didn't win anything? I think the earth has shifted on its axis.

Both are good, WandN, and WandW, for my projects. But I will only buy packaged, be careful buying all natural by the yard off a roll. I ended up with tiny moths all over my house from that. Joanns took it back, but the moths had set up camp, and it took awhile to purge them! Lol.

Congrats! I am like so many that count on the ole reliables...WAN and WAW. Although when I made a queen size quilt that the recipient wanted to hang on the wall, I switched to a thin poly batting.

How nice! I definitely use cotton batting. I hate polyester, but 80/20 is fine. I ordered a bold of batting from Walmart and it's almost gone. It was Pellon, 120" wide and 10 yards for about $55, I think. I would have gotten Warm & Natural if they had that, but this is similar.

You are so lucky! Next time I'm driving across the border, I hope to take a whole roll with me! So much more convenient! XO

I like Warm and Natural too. I have some InsulBright to try too. I also like wool for handquilting of which I do very little.
