WE ARE GETTING THERE!!!

IMG_2345
Not a very good picture but don’t make me go and do another one…..(yes, I am whinning).

If you had any inkling of an idea of what it took to get this room to this point you would understand
my whine…and yes…I want some cheese with it…preferably Pepper Jack.

The attic has been cleaned out and filled with tubs of my sons junk!!!

The out building is full to the brim once again but with our things.

The car port looks like a garage sell.  My husband and I are at the point of
“who cares, throw it away.”  We have taken two truck loads of trash from the attic to the dumpster all ready.
Six truck loads from the out building.
Now the demolition will begin!!!

Once when we were cleaning the attic I looked over and saw this one box and thought
oh wow…I can’t wait to see the fun stuff in there, I just saw a glimmer of a few things.  When I finally got a moment I went over there
and low and behold it was my stuff….(so funny…glad I still find delight in my things….my things miss me).

Have not purchased any fabric for 14 days…oh yesss…I was even at Tuesday Morning in Hot Springs, Arkansas on
Thursday and had fabric in my hands…looked over at my nephew and said…nope..don’t need it and back in the bin it went.
Do I feel all of you patting me on the back….!!!

It looks great! Good for you not buying that fabric! I've been using up what I have for about two years now and I've still not made a dent in my stash! LOL

so nice to know that your own stuff still brings an excitement to you...take a deep breath and rest a bit....a huge pat on the back for not buying any fabric! You should be very proud.

I'm definitely patting you on your back, but also giving you permission to buy fabric when you feel you need it and have time to use it.

You've been a busy gal cleaning out rooms. But please don't toss good stuff in the trash. At a minimum please route to a charity/good cause (thrift store, white elephant sale, etc). But hopefully there are some things you've found that you'll want to keep, some worthwhile your time to sale and some for charity and plenty for trash.

Good job Barb! And I too have resisted buying fabric so far this year. Yay us! Glad all the cleaning out is done now! Whew!

That room looks wonderful. Can't wait to see what you do with it. We are world famous for cleaning out and throwing away, so I know that good feeling you get when you see those truckloads go.

Wish I had your self control. I made a promise on New Year's Day not to purchase any more fabric until I had use half of my stash. When to the shop on Wednesday and lost all self control. Now I'm whinning.

That space looks fantastic! I think I can imagine how busy you have been. I also promised myself not to buy any new fabric. So far it has worked because I can't get out of the house on my scooter. My world is frozen and it is impossible to go anywhere safely. Can hardly wait for spring. Even if it is only to go to a fabric shop and buy some thread.
