HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO FIT A ROUND PEG INTO A SQUARE HOLE? NO MORE!!! NEW DESIGN! VINTAGE CLOTHING!

REMEMBER THIS PHOTO?

I asked you to guess what I was making???

No more guessing!!!

Here it is all set up!

So what do you think?  No more rectangle place mats for me....

---------------------------------------

On another note:

So many times I have gone into stores wanting to buy a dress and well....they just are not modest enough for me.
Most are sleeveless, low in the top and well...just not what I would want to wear.

Have any of you heard of Shabby Apple?

They have vintage clothing.  At first I thought vintage clothing???  I don't know????

But................

I went to their website and oh my stinking GOSH!!!  I love love love their dresses.  If you have time and are looking for modest clothing that is fashionable, this is the place to go.

Here are a few of my favorites

I love your placemats! The link is missing though. I have the same problem with clothing, when I have time I just make my own clothes now. I haven't made anything lately because I keep telling myself that I will make my new dress when I lose 10 pounds, hasn't happened yet though!

Barb, your table toppers are always lovely and these table mats with the matching center are no exception! Beautiful!

I've always been a round peg trying to fit into a square hole....wow, I just love that layout! (There didn't seem to be a link for the pattern in the post.) It's striking!! Thanks for the link to Shabby Apple. I love vintage clothing. I'm off to take a look.........

perfect placemats for that nice round table. I keep saying I need to make some place mats for my table, but it never seems to get to the top of the list. I am thinking of doing the stack and whack type with 4 colours, one for each of use.

Your placemats and centerpiece "runner" look great, What a clever idea. I love the way you see things in a new light and just make it!

I made ones similar to yours for my sister's round kitchen table. We used freezer paper and drew the placemat right on the table to see how it would fit. Then I made 4 and it worked out real well. Yours look great!

Your mats are such a clever idea. One of those things where I think "that's so obvious, now I see it, why hasn't it been invented before?"

Folks with round tables will love this! Good luck with it! Yes I do like those dresses. I made myself a simple frock yesterday. Sleeveless.

You so ROCK...love the table! Beautiful fabric too.

I have not bought a dress since my father passed away 11 years ago. I'm telling you there is nothing out there for folks who want tasteful without showing all sorts of unmentionables...giggles. Thanks for the link!

Hugs,
Kelly
