Have any of you seen this binding tool? If not....it is a must see. I recently purchased this tool and it is fabulous!!!!

She also shows a table runner you can do with this tool but I can't seem to find it. Totally awesome. but..............here is another site that you can do the friendship braid with this tool.

It is always fun to find many uses for one ruler, that way you feel like you are getting your money worth. Have a fabulous day...no sewing going on this week...maybe tomorrow...there is always tomorrow!!

I always love to hear about new products, new tools, especially rulers. I've seen several version of the binding ruler, with the first that I'm aware of from Quilter's Paradise. http://sewcalgal.blogspot.com/2010/08/cutrite-bind-up-ruler-by-quilters.html

Thanks for sharing insights on this new bind up ruler from Missouri Star. Looks like a very handy tool. I like how it builds in the spacing required for both ends, before binding the two together.

Great video. I haven't seen that tool before. I'll have to look for it.

Hmmm..I have wondered about that tool, it seemed like an unnecessary expense. Now I see why I might want it. How wide a binding is it made for?

i tried to help a friend with this tool and I couldn't figure it out, lol.
also, how do you load the video to the blog? I'm so un-techy

I would like to see how you sewed around the 4 corners when you attached the binding around the 4 sides before finishing with this tool.

Neat little gadget!

Hey, that's cool. I especially love how they cut the top off the sewn braids off and use that to square off the bottom! Not sure I would have thought of that. . .

Barb, somehow I missed this you tube and I subscribe to them. This might be a worthwhile tool to purchase. Thanks for sharing it.

I have it and it is great for the 2.5" binding. I do mine at 2.25" and I always need to make adjustments.

Hmmm, I purchased a tool to do the braid over the weekend. Drat, I didn't even think about using the binding tool (ruler) that I already had.

Thanks for the url for the pdf from united notions - it will be helpful .

That looks amazingly easy to do! I always struggle to get my binding to fit right.
