IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!

So...my son David and I were headed out to pick up the 4th son this evening in Richmond, he came from Hawaii......(whohooooo....now this young man has an infectious laugh and it is so fun to hear his laugh fill the house....how I have missed him).

Anyways, I check the mail before I left and to my utter surprise and delight (I think I actually squealed)....good thing my son was driving, I was sent 4 cards of buttons from ButtonMad!!

I did get a strange look from him as I was jumping up and down in my seat (not good for the suspension).... Check out their blog!!! I can't get enough of their buttons!!!

What a creative group of women.... Women Empowering Women!!! Thanks soooooo much!!!

Then I received this a few days ago from "The Second Twin"

She wanted to know what 47 felt like.....let me see if I can remember while I walked 20 miles in the snow to school, all up hill...HA!!! She has a wonderful blog.... Thanks so much!!

....okay...a person can only take so much but it just didn't stop there.

So...I am going to the grocery store but by the store is a Tuesday Morning .....I love this store and well....I decided to stop in and have a browse before going next door for food.

Low and behold....look what I found and for cheap...12 fat quarters for 4.99....oh...yes 4.99!!

Two yards of fabric for 2.50 each..... I think I hit the mother load....but wait...there is more!!!

Then I found these Pre Printed Paper Piecing for Crazy patches (8 printed pieces for 48 - 6" finished blocks, or 9 printed pieces for 54 - 8" finished blocks or 6 printed pieces for 36- 10" finished blocks.

The other is Flower Power - pre -printed freezer paper to create an applique garden....Says more than 140 reusable flowers, stem and leaf patterns....

Why am I going to such pains to tell you about these packets? Because I am going to offer one to a lucky winner. Just leave a comment and tell me which one you would like! Why not share the finds? Oh...I will pick a winner on Friday....I have another son coming in then!

Today's Spring Accuquilt Go cutter hop is

Thanks for coming by and visiting me yesterday.....I hope you continue to visit the other blogs in this hop. There are so many talented people out there, it just floors me.

(I think my computer is still on Samoan time but it is Wednesday, even it it says Tuesday)

What a fun day and great post. The best news is updates about your sons coming home. So very happy for you.

I didn't realize Tuesday Morning was also in your area. I certainly enjoy shopping at the ones in my area.

The buttons are so cute! What a great buy on the fat quarters. Although I don't have a GO, I am enjoying the hop.

The buttons are great!! Did David tell you to calm down while he tried to control the car? LOL

How wonderful to have your "boys" coming home. Your house will be so quiet again when they all head out :0(

Crispy (Don't put me in the drawing for the usual reasons LOL)

This is a chock-full post, but the one that stands out in my "bargain mind" is 12 FQs at that price! Thanks for sharing all the fun, including how much we all miss our "kids".

After doing a king-sized log cabin, paper-pieced, I swore I would never paper piece again. But.....I want to do a crazy quilt, always have. This seems to be a good way to jump in and actually do it.

WOW! What a batch of great finds (particularly the tall, dark and laughing one). Have a great time gathering your boys around you.

I am still waiting on my penguin buttons. I love them and am so glad that you introduced this company!!

I do enjoy paper piecing. I've never tried pre-printed papers. The flowers sound fun.

Wow, our Tuesday Morning does not carry much in the line of quilting. They've just started carrying some yarn. They used to have great quilting books at reasonable prices, but no more..... they are all knitting and crochet books now :-(

Don't you love Tuesday Morning? I find some of the craziest things there. It's as dangerous as Home Goods to walk in the doors. lol

Love your cute buttons. I have been paying more attention to them since you blogged about them.

Enjoy your sons.

BTW, I'm having a give away right now, too. Come on over and enter if you'd like!

WOW, you DID hit the mother load! I love your new buttons. Aren't buttons fun? I could play in them almost as often as playing in fabric....well maybe not quite, but you know what I mean. LOL I need to check out our Tuesday Morning. If I were to win, either would be fun, but my favorite is Flower Power. I love gardening. :) Thank you for the chance!

I didn't notice your day/date was wrong. I'm not very observant I guess.

You found lots of nice goodies. The crazy patches looks like it would be fun and a new way to use up scraps.

Sounds like you had a fun day being reunited with your boys. You also hit the jackpot, I didn't realize Tuesday Mornings carried fabric. I have seen rotary cutters, scissors and other quilty things there, but never fabric. You lucky lady. Enjoy! The flower power freezer paper looks interesting.
