I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!

Every once in a while......I just don't feel like sewing (was that a dirty word)....sorry.... I just don't wanna....

I did clean my sewing space a little today. Weeded the flower gardens around the house.....but no sewing....

But....I did get this awesome package in the mail from "Splitting Stitches" by Joanne....

When I think of her blog name, I think of someone laughing so hard that their side hurts....such a fun name and fun blog.

I have not to this date used aurifil threads and now so excited to get the opportunity to use it. She sent these wonderful cut outs....oh my gosh...my mind was reeling with ideas of what to do with them all... My mind is still going at it....so soon, very soon....there will be a fun quilt being born. I believe all the asphalt is gone (blushing)......and the black and white material is just awesome!! Thanks so much Joanne!!

This certainly was a fun hop, I hope you all were able to join us. Sew Cal Gal sure put alot of work into this and so I wanted to take a minute to thank her for her hard work.

Picking up another son today....and husband who has been out of town for a week....busy day...no sewing today either!

It is okay to "just not feel like it" sometimes. Take some "being" time; time to reconnect with yourself. It works wonders.

Enjoy your time with your family!

You'll love the Aurifil. Very low lint.

A lot of us have that "just don't want to sew" feeling from time to time. I do hope it passes soon. Can't wait to see what you do with your goodies. I know you will enjoy your time with your sons.

When you said all the asphalt was gone I had to go back and enlarge the picture to see what you were talking about lol. I thought you were going a bit crazy and had no idea what you were doing with asphalt.

I have days that I don't feel like sewing too. Sometimes I push myself to sew and I feel better and other days I say whatever. This time of year there is so much to do, working outside, cleaning out closets just to mention a couple. Have a great weekend with your sons! I will be thinking of you.

We all feel like that sometimes. I plan to do a bit of gardening today too. We are supposed to get rain for the weekend so I will get lots of sewing done then. There's got to be a balance.

Sometimes all you have to do is breathe in and breathe out. And, that is enough,

I've been kind of in the same boat. Not much sewing going on this week. But I will be machine quilting the next couple of days. How's it going with your sewing machine??

Everybody needs a break sometimes, even from something they enjoy. Relax and rejuvenate until you feel like sewing again.

Congrats to Sew Meow - what a cute name. The things the bloggers made for the hop were all very impressive. I liked it.
