KONA BAY GOODNESS.......

You all saw these the other day.... I was making samples for a non-sew activity for the ladies at church.

But you didn't see these and that was what the circles were for....... took me an hour to cut them all out.

I am glad to report that the evening was a success. I had enough fabric for each lady to make one of each. There were close to 30 ladies, much more than I anticipated but had enough supplies. Another gal brought buttons as well as my self...and well....it just worked out perfectly.

Can you tell me what this pile of fabric is? The first one to get the answer right, I will send a little something in the mail.

I finished the border for my schnibbles (I did make it bigger). This is all Kona Bay fabrics and oh...do I ever love Kona bay. I wish you could see this quilt like I see it....soooo amazing. Infact...if you are interested in Kona bay fabrics my sister is selling her fabrics ..... I know...blah...blah..blah....for $2.50 a half yard.....blah blah blah...(did you all zone out when I said that?)
No internet again today....pooey...went to lunch with my husband...came home and worked on that pile of whatever and the Kona Bay quilt...had a lovely day....just lovey......

The fabric flowers are so cute. I have no idea what the pile of fabric will be. I will be visiting your sister this weekend. Does she mind if I shop in my jammies? lol

Looks like quilt binding or bias binding to me! Have you been playing with a Simplicity bias tape maker? Love mine!

Glad your flowers went over well. But how could they not? They are so cute! Is that pile binding for the Kona Bay quilt?

I'm sure all the ladies at church had a wonderful time making their flowers...they are so cute!

I'm terrible about guessing what piles of fabrics might be, but I'll just say to me it looks like bindings for something?

Sorry about your internet, but have a great day!

XOXO,

Cyndi

I am absolutely terrible at guessing and knowing names of fabrics and collections (unless I have them)!
However, your flowers are DARLING!!

It looks like bindings for quilts to me.

Your pile looks like bindings. If they are all for the same quilt I think the green will give it a fun splash of color. The blue looks like same from the pile of quilts a few posts back.

I like the tan flower. :)

Beautifull flowers, thank you ! I think I have some ribbon that's just waiting for that idea :-)).

I think you made a lot ( a whole lot !!!) of bias. Are you planning on a new applique project?

Love your flowers and your cute schnibble. I'm taking a SWAG guess that your pile of fabric is made to tie up your DH? Or is it strips to make the beautiful flowers?

I also posted on FB about your sisters' fabric sale, as well as sent out email messages to friends. Great sale!

Your Kona Bay snowball quilt is fabulous! Love it! Now..did you cut all of those pieces with your GO. Please share how with us.

I'm guessing that those scrap pieces are the leftover "folds" from cutting strips. (tee hee..I had some of those yesterday too, and am saving mine for some string piece quilts. What are you going to do with yours?

I'm thinking bindings for quilts!

Those are beautiful too... I'm going to make some as hair bows for my niece I think!

That little pile of scraps looks like what is left after cutting with the GO- some women at my LQS donate the scraps for pillow filling for the animal shelter- Sandy in MD

It could be bias for binding. Could it be bias for appliqueing stems?

I want to make some of those flowers too.

Bet those ladies loved their flowers!
