YOU KNOW YOU ARE A RED NECK WHEN........

You use this......(seam ripper inside the handle of a pair of scissors)

here is a better picture...

instead of this...

Table Top- This base will hold your seam rippers upright for easy use. There are two different size rippers and they can be stored in the base or removed and used by hand. Each ripper has a safety ball to help protect your fabric and the base is approximately 2 1/2x 2 1/2x 1.

Yep, necessity is the mother of invention.....

You had me at the title lol.

I think of that table top seam ripper each time I am cutting apart my chain piecing. I'm just not willing to buy one. I think my husband would laugh at me if I had one of those. Your seam ripper is nicer than mine too. Mine would never be able to stand on its own.

Hey...who you calling Redneck? Hee!!

Spotted the giveaway here....your name is in a special drawing as well. Your chances increase by those who tell me they spotted it at yours.

Way cool. I've seen those seam rippers before, but didn't realize there was a pair of scissors inside the handle. Oh, how I love cool gadgets!

Sometimes our own inventions work much better than those bought at a store!

Sorry even when I enlarged it I couldn't see it. I did a lot of ripping yesterday (took an old drape apart) but I use the old fashioned standby. Have a fun day!

Does it work? As much as I like my neat red thing, I keep misplacing the seam rippers that fit in it.
