FINALLY MADE IT HOME!!

Seventeen hours later.....oh my goodness....thought we were going to die!!! What a long trip. The life saver was that on the plane from Hawaii to American Samoa there were only 65 passengers....oh....how lovely was that? I felt we were in first class.

Sad part about this, no luggage. I had great plans for today with all my fun stuff....the next plane will be Thursday. Soon they will stop the Tuesday flights. But.....I am home, sitting in my sewing room...trying to catch up on blogs but I have to stop for now or I will not get anything done.

Sorry I have not returned your emails or commented on your blogs, sometimes I would just read and leave (how rude is that)? I will try not to be so rude...but...I was going to post a picture and well....my cord that allows me to do so is in the luggage.....hummmmmm

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments and well wishes.

Funny story...

I was so dog tired last night....so very tired....well....in the middle of the night I sat upright and yelled at my husband "What are you doing in my bed!"...I did this three times.....I am laughing now....he came to me this morning and said do you remember yelling at me last night. He said I hurt his feeling, I a still laughing because I was so disoriented that I didnt' even know where I was at that time. I had to apologize and I dont think he has quite forgiven me yet...probably scared him out of a deep sleep. so sorry.....but sooo funny. I wonder if he thought I was going to hurt him...... I am such a bad girl....I will try to be better next year.

Glad to know you are home. Rest up and get back into AS timezone. I don't do well on long flights either!

That is hysterical. I am sure he probably can chuckle about it today.

Sorry about the luggage. That is always such a bummer! Glad you are home safely.

No need for apology! I think we all do it sometimes. There just aren't enough hours in the day! As for your hubby, just tell him it was the stress of not getting your luggage and all your good crafty souvenirs!

I am glad you are home safe and I hope our luggage all catches up with you on Thursday. FUNNY about yelling that to your husband in the nighttime!

I am laughing at the thought of you yelling at your husband in the middle of the night. He must have thought you had lost your mind. What was the security like on the flight? I have heard they don't allow you to get up for the last hour of the flight. Glad you are home safe but not having your luggage is a bummer.

Great story. I'm sure he'll forgive you -- your outburst had no underlying evil intent. (sorry--I'm still laughing.)
Your luggage will show up eventually, and life will settle back to normal. Glad to read that you're home safely.

Happy New Year from my corner of the world to yours!

It's good to know you made it home safely, sorry about your luggage. My poor sister every time she goes somewhere her luggage gets lost. I hope you get your fabrics and goodies soon. Funny story about yelling at dh, I hope he can laugh with you about it this evening.

Those long, long flights can be murder. Glad to hear you're safely home. I hadn't thought about it being rude, but I often visit and read without leaving a comment. I don't always have something to say, and I read so many blogs that there just isn't enough time.

Poor Hubby.

Sorry to hear your luggage didn't make it home yet. Some days I just dont' have a comment so I read and leave. But I do try to comment if I have the time and something to say.

I see no reason to feel bad about that! Just tell him it goes to prove you never share the bed with anyone else and he should be THANKFUL to have such subconscious proof of your fidelity and love.

ps- thank you for the comment and link to my giveaway. I wonder, how do you find time to respond to everyone indvidually as you do?! I only have 18 comments and feel I would be rude not to respond to each person indvidually. ;)

I am laughing out loud here in OH. I know all about that kind of tired. I have done similiar things or had conversations that I don't remember. Oh my word!!! At least you were not calling him by another name and inviting him into your bed ay?

I hat that your luggage did not make it with you. When I went to Houston in Oct, I took everything I needed in my carry on because I was concerned I'd be at Quilt Market with no tooth brush or hair comb.

Get some rest and now you can just lust after all those fun things you bought while on the "big dirt."

Hugs,
Kelly

I hate it when the plane we're taking is full. Last year we took our first red eye - never again will I do that. Every seat was sold and it was miserable!
