HOODIES

Hoodies for my Bernina and Janome bobbins.

Hoodies for my Pfaff bobbins..... No bobbin will be left behind. Hoodies for all!!

Have you seen this clever idea? It is hair bobs (that is what I call them), they are the small ones. I just happened to be in a store the other day and was browsing and found these small hairbobs. I remember seeing this idea in a quilt magizines. So clever.

But I call them Hoodies. My bobbins looks so fresh and ready for the winter. I have a hoddie for each one. Even shared with the girls that came over on Friday! How fun is this?

No more tangled threads.....

I feel somewhat organized now...that is the key word, somewhat. I am so embarassed about my messy sewing room.....

They look so cute, and tidy. I remember my girls having those 'lackies' when they were younger. Lackies is Oz slang for elastic bands...

Clever ..... and they do look adorable! I have one of those circle bobbin containers that I keep for applique, but this is a great idea for everyday use and there is nothing more frustrating than trying to grab one bobbin and have it tangled up with a lot of friends.

I love the hoodies, it almost looks like your bobbins are smiling all lined up in the box LOL.

Clever idea. I never have that many bobbins in use since I tend to use either off-white or light grey Masterpiece pre-wounds for just about everything.

I use those too, for my M class bobbins (for the longarm).
Clever little idea!

I loved the idea when I also saw it and went out to get some and never used them I have to find them and try them out. Thanks for reminding me.

I've seen this before, but I think you have inspired me to give them a try. My bobbin cases are so unorganized, with loose threads. And yours looks so very organized. Plus, I like your term "hoodies" and "no bobbin will be left behind". Clearly you are creative and thoughtful!

Thanks for sharing.

That is such a great idea!!!
So I was wondering if you wanted to still trade with me...pumpkins, for the Halloween swap.
I didn't get my bum in gear to make the Sept deadline. But life is settled now.

It looks like they are ready for a winter of quilting. It will be great to see what these bobbins create.

I hate those long threads on my bobbins. What a fantastic idea!

I've used them for ages for my bobbins.....and even if I have a spool of thread where I can't seem to find the little "notch" to put the loose end of thread into when I take the spool off the machine, I use those hair thingees. They are CHEAP at the dollar store.......discovered them about 6 months after I began quilting! Love that you gave them a name of HOODIES....cute!!!

I used them last year for a while but then the bobbins wouldn't fit in my case LOL.
