Oh yes, don't roll your eyes...it is Pillowcases again!!!

Here is a link to the pillow case tutorial
STOP STARING AND START SEWING
Two are for the little gal that is getting the Quilt a long quilt.

Have to include my island pillowcases...one is for my son going to school in Hawaii (dont tell...it is for Christmas).

NEXT is a Family divided....four of my sons will get these for their Christmas as well..
Yep...trying to get a jump on Christmas...any suggestion for five sons?

pillowcases are great gifts. I like to make them from leftover fabrics from the quilt if I can, then use the pillowcase as the "giftwrap".

No suggestions for boys, they are so hard to buy for...except my son is easy, anything to do with fishing is very well recieved LOL. I bookmarked the tutorial for future reference, thanks!

Thanks for the link to the tutorial. I've been wanting the directions for that and now I have them! I like the pillowcases you showed. I have NO clue what to do for the sons......small zippered bags (lined, maybe) to hold shaving stuff and deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrush????

Great pillowcases! Gives me an idea for my son who just graduated from Texas A & M, looks like he'll have a few pillowcases in his future also.

Barb those are adorable. Like you I too have to make gifts early because of my hectic school schedule.
I made a picnic/car quilt for my sone so if he is at the beach or a park he can have a picnice with his girlfriends,etc...
I also make man themed kitchen towels. LIke I just embroidered a tractor onefor my daughters boyfriend,.

You know buying for boys is not something I've had to do...

But, I think pillowcases is really a cool way to go...I like all of them - the green one blew me away!!

I haven't even begun to think about Christmas yet!

Boxer shorts or pajama bottoms!! I made a million boxer shorts for my boys while they were in high school and college. They have moved on to more "dignified" undies. But jams are comfortable and warm, if need be. Hmmmmm. Practice what you preach, Linda. I just found some Christmas gifts.
